Abstract. In modern social conditions, information about the patterns of regulation of mental states, which can be a significant help in solving many tactical and strategic tasks of sports activities. Solving issues of psychological correction of emotional states of martial artists is important for specifying aspects that relate to the development of psychological characteristics of athletes and the regulation of their emotional and volitional processes. Аnalysis of literature sources indicates the insufficient effectiveness of existing schemes for correcting pre-start emotional states of martial artists, which determines the relevance of the research topic and determines the purpose of the work-the development of a system of psychological and pedagogical techniques for correcting pre-start emotional states of young martial artists. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were identified: 1. Investigate and systematize modern scientific and methodological knowledge about the prestart problems of emotional states of wrestlers, to carry out selection and development of psychodiagnostic tools which are based on the analysis and generalization of literary sources. 2. Identify the features of the influence of emotional states of young wrestling athletes on the general state of health and effectiveness of sports activities. 3. Scientifically substantiate and develop a comprehensive program aimed at forming a prestart emotional state of combat readiness and a set of specialized professionally important qualities in young wrestling athletes. 4. Analyze the effectiveness of the proposed comprehensive program, which consists of system of psychological and pedagogical methods of correction of prestart emotional states of wrestling athletes. Male wrestlers aged from 18 to 24 were examined. For the solution of the set tasks was used to compare two groups: - 40 people (20 athletes from freestyle wrestling, and 20 karate athletes), the average age of the subjects – 19,49 ± 0,79 y. o.
Set tasks were solved using the following research methods: scientific and methodological analysis of literature; pedagogical experiment; questionnaires; methods of mathematical statistics. Developed the system of psychological and pedagogical methods of correction of prestart emotional states consisted of four blocks: block A (heterotraining, neuromuscular relaxation, autotraining); 2) block B (ideomotor training, adapted version of hypnoideomotor training, sensitization); 3) block C (programming for success in sports, self-programming for success in sports using audio and video recordings; 4) block D (aimed at activation and inhibition) large hemispheres of the brain).
According to the results of the study, it was found that the improvement in mental reliability occurred to a greater extent in athletes who were engaged in freestyle wrestling in terms of competitive emotional stability (by 3.33 points) and the motivational and energy component (by 3.08 points). Improving of strong-willed qualities occurred to a greater extent in athletes who were engaged in freestyle wrestling in terms of purposefulness (by 6.80 points); self-control in athletes who were engaged in karate improved by 5.58 points. As a result of the experiment, the effectiveness of the proposed method "system of psychological and pedagogical techniques for correcting pre-start emotional states of martial artists"was proved. The data obtained indicate that the expectation of spontaneous development of a state of tactical efficiency in athletes in the course of training activities without purposeful use of special methods and techniques is not justified.
